Impedance Matching

Compute a matching network from impedance Z1 to impedance Z2. Without specifying the frequency, the reactance values will be displayed. If the frequency is specified, the corresponding capacitance and inductance values are shown. In general there are two solutions.

For example, if your antenna analyzer reads Z1, then using Z2 = 50 yields a matching network for the antenna and a 50 Ohm coax.

Note: in this program two impedances match if one is the conjugate of the other, i.e. 50+j100 will match 50-j100.
